Summary

Steve is a forensic accountant and experienced expert witness with over 20 years of experience advising clients on complex financial issues arising in commercial disputes, investigations, valuations and corporate transactions. He holds the CA ANZ Forensic Accounting and Business Valuation Specialisations, reflecting recognised expertise across both forensic accounting and valuation disciplines.

Steve's work includes forensic accounting investigations, economic loss and damages quantification, business and intellectual property valuations, and the preparation of independent expert reports. He is recognised for translating complex financial issues into clear, well reasoned opinions that assist clients, legal advisers, courts and other decision makers.

Beginning his career in London with BDO, Steve has since led teams in prestigious firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Ernst & Young (EY) after relocating to Australia in 2009. His client portfolio spans across Australia and internationally, covering regions such as the United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji.

Steve has appeared as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of Queensland and regularly assists clients through mediations, expert conferences and other dispute resolution processes.

Beyond client work, Steve has lectured at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and presented at legal, accounting and industry seminars, including for the Resolution Institute, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
