Forensic Accountant

We are offering an experienced forensic accountant the chance to autonomously drive your own projects whilst fitting them into your own schedule. If you are self-motivated and would like some flexibility in your day/week, we are open to discussing how your contribution to the business could be designed for us both.

You will be responsible for executing complex and high-profile forensic accounting engagements through and producing high-quality analysis and expert witness reports.

You will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Drive forensic accounting engagements, including economic loss calculations, damage assessments, financial performance, business interruption claims, and other forms of litigation support;

  • Analyse financial data and prepare expert witness reports;

  • Interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data proficiently and deliver findings effectively;

  • Maintain and evolve internal databases and analytical tools to support data extraction and analysis;

  • Coordinate and implement quality assurance and data validation protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting or a related field;

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related quantitative field;

  • CA/CPA-qualified (or equivalent) preferred;

  • A solid understanding of forensic accounting principles and practices;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Exceptional skills in writing, communication, and engaging with stakeholders;

  • Strong abilities in time management, planning, and maximising efficiency;

  • Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;

  • Ability to work independently while also seeking assistance when necessary;

  • A desire for continuous learning and professional improvement.
